Jeffery A. Deren, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and specializes in hand and upper-extremity procedures. He cares for those with acute trauma, sports injuries and health conditions such as osteoarthritis. He patented the SafeSplint as a way of improving outcomes for patients with upper extremity injuries.
He received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania, and fellowship in upper extremity surgery at the Harvard Combined program/ Brigham and Women’s hospital, and has over 25 years of experience.
